FASHION SHOOT! - New York Times

For some reason some people have been very kindly asking for photos from the Bruce Weber shoot, in the New York Times. These aren't my copyright, unfortunately! But here are two photos from the article - I didn't get to keep the clothes unfortunately!! Bruce was wonderful. Those of you interested in these things may be interested to hear that Stephen Meisel, also a top style phtotographer, flew me to New York and drapped me over a Russian model - the photos apparently will be in the Oscar issue of Vanity Fair (March?) and elsewhere.

The NY Times this last weekend (1-2nd Nov 2003) has published a big feature by Bruce Weber, the international photographer. I haven't seen it yet, but the photo shoot was a lavish affair, involving one camel, two camel handlers, five dogs, three trucks (including one for my wardrobe), a wardrobe mistress, make-up lady, fashioner editors, and the photo crew itself, including various camera assistants, lighting people and Bruce himself - a very warm and generous and patient man, as it turned out, who was both interesting and interested. 3/Nov/03
