Sri Chinmoy Award

Recently I was pleased to accept an award from Sri Chinmoy, who holds peace meditations at the United Nations. Fellow recipients of the 'Lifting Up the World With a Oneness-Heart Award' include Nelson Mandela and athlete Carl Lewis, and it 'honours individuals of inspiration and dedication.'

Other recipients on the day were actress and model Jerry Hall (pictured talking to me), actors Patrick Stewart (who had to slip away before we took the group photo), Sarah Miles, and the peace campaigner Bruce Kent. 6/9/03
